Blackwood is a mulder-esque, dib-esque human interloper from Dead End, a webcomic my sister finished last year. in ST world Blackwood was always taken seriously as a paranormal investigator and eventually his skill and reputation became so great the government recruited him to take over as director of the FBPI. Home base is area 51 of course 👽
this may or may not be an AU?? canon Blackwood is obsessed with exposing the paranormal, but by the end of the story he had become so personally involved in it I’d say he would try to protect it instead of expose it. Plus there is a substantial timeskip between the end of the story and the epilogue. So maybe this is how Blackwood spent his days until then 8)

It takes place in a parallel dimension/underworld kinda place with demons, goblins, and vampires and the aesthetic/theme is kinda similar to ST. if you like my comic you will LOVE dead end which is about a million times better, AND already fully completed at like 300+ pages. go!!!
